I made these from a vintage silver-plated copper platter which has a beautiful embossed floral pattern. Ideal as a meaningful bridesmaid gift, it can be used to hold a precious memento, earrings, wedding ring, earrings, a locket of hair, or even as a charming tooth fairy box.
For a personal touch, add a tiny handmade scroll with custom text for just $6.50 (see ninth photo).
- Hand crafted from a vintage silver-plated copper platter.
- Size: Box - length 1-7/8", width 1-1/2", height 7/8". Lid is 2-3/16" long x 1-13/16" wide. Refer to photos showing size references to common objects.
- Black felt padding lines the inside bottom of the box.
- Box is polished with microcrystalline wax to retard tarnish, though it will tarnish in time. A small silver polishing cloth is included.
- There may be plate loss and blemishes. You will see base copper showing on the edges - adding a beautiful coppery contrast to the shiny silver. It's made by hand from vintage material!
